Day one scores of 2025 Imperial Valley Classic Flag Football Tournament

The first day of the 2025 Imperial Valley Classic Flag Football Tournament launched Monday, August 18.

EL CENTRO, Calif (KYMA, KECY) - The first day of the 2025 Imperial Valley Classic Flag Football Tournament consisted of four football games at Imperial and Southwest High Schools.

In the 6 p.m. window of the tournament, Vincent Memorial and Brawley came down to the wire, ending in a 28-26 victory in favor of the Scots.

During that same time, Central Union brought it to Holtville, crushing them 36-2 at Imperial Field.

Later in the evening, Calexico made the trip north to face Southwest, and it went exactly as they would've hoped, they cruised to a 26-0 blowout over the Eagles.

Holtville got to play some more football, but this one didn't go there way either. The Tigers smoked the Vikings 47-0.

The tournament continues Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. as Vincent Memorial takes on Central.
