Drop in temps this weekend before warm up next week

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Sunny and breezy conditions continue across the desert Friday. Temperatures are feeling cooler than they did on Thursday.

We'll have a slight drop in temperatures this weekend and then rise above our seasonal normal range mid next week.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), they report another possible round of showers and thunderstorms through tonight with gusty winds and blowing dust.

NWS says rainfall chances decrease over the weekend with storms primarily relegated to higher terrain areas of central and Eastern Arizona.
