Three dead, one injured in shooting at a Target parking lot in Texas
AUSTIN, Texas (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - A suspected gunman has been arrested in Austin, Texas after opening fire at a Target parking lot, killing three people and injuring one.
The Austin Police Department (APD) were called to the Target north of the city just after 2:00 p.m. Central, where they found three people shot in the parking lot.
"The initial responding units arrived and found three victims. Two of the two of those were pronounced on scene by Austin, Travis County EMS. One was transported to a local hospital, where they were pronounced at the hospital. In addition, one additional individual was treated on scene for unrelated for unrelated injuries."

They say the suspect, identified as a 32-year-old man, stole a car and fled the scene.
However, he crashed the car, and then hijacked another vehicle before he was arrested a short time later by APD.
Officials say the suspect has a mental health history.
"This is a very sad day for Austin. It's very sad day for us all, and my condolences go out to the families," said Chief Lisa Davis with APD.
So far, there is no word on a motive.
