Doritos unveils next big flavor: Golden Sriracha
(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - Doritos is often known for its bold flavors, and the chipmaker has at it again.
This time, the company is introducing what it hopes will be the next "Cool Ranch." It has released its "Golden Sriracha" flavor.
Sriracha is a chili sauce often associated with Thai and Vietnamese food.
Grocery stores routinely sell the sauce, and Doritos is hoping to cash in on that popularity with its new chip.
The company says its Golden Sriracha took about two years to develop.
The chip doesn't contain artificial colors. but it does have artificial flavors to help achieve the sriracha taste.
