Heavy rainfall causes roads in Arkansas to flood

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - Heavy rainfall caused a creek to swell in northeast Arkansas Friday, flooding a nearby road.

Footage filmed by X user @Ozk_Mtn_Pnk shows the creek runoff saturating a roadway in Fayetteville, Arkansas Friday afternoon.

"This is why they say 'turn around, [don't] drown,'" @Ozk_Mtn_Pnk said.

The city also experienced other flooding Friday due to a nearby water main break, according to news reports.
