Three dead in plane crash near airport in Idaho

NAMPA, Idaho (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Three people died when a plane crashed near the Nampa Airport Sunday.

All three were onboard the plane. According to officials, the crash happened around 5:40 p.m. Mountain on North Venice Street.

The aircraft struck an unoccupied outbuilding in a residential neighborhood.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported on the ground.

The identities of the victims have not been released as authorities are notifying their families.

An investigation is underway.
