At least four hospitalized in ‘hazmat incident’ in Baltimore

BALTIMORE (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - A "hazmat incident" in Baltimore left at least four people hospitalized on Sunday.

Fire officials called it a possible hazardous materials incident.

They were called to the scene on Wicomico Street at a poultry processing facility shortly before 5:00 p.m. Eastern.

There were about 100 employees on the scene at the time, and ten people needed medical assistance. Four people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are still looking into the cause.
