Hulk Hogan, wrestling superstar, dies at 71

(KYMA, KECY/NBC) - Wrestler Hulk Hogan has passed away Thursday morning at the age of 71.

Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, passed away surrounded by his family in Clearwater, Florida, according to NBC.

Hogan became a pro-wrestler in the 1980s, growing to become one of the biggest WWE superstars.

Hogan faced off against other well-known wrestlers such as Andre the Giant, Randy Savage and The Rock.

He later went on to a career in acting, appearing in Rock III, as well as other movies and T.V. shows.

He is survived by his ex-wife and two children.
