Nike releases and sells out Caitlin Clark sneakers

(NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Caitlin Clark has taken over the sneaker world as Nike released the WNBA star's first player edition sneakers Monday.

They are a version of the Kobe V Protro decked out in Indiana Fever colors.

Sneakerheads had to enter a pool and cross their fingers for a chance to buy the coveted kicks.

The shoes were gone in minutes and immediately went to the re-sale market.

Instead of $190 dollars from Nike, the price nearly doubled on re-sale.
