YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Temperatures will heat up through the weekend with widespread moderate heat risk developing across all areas by Sunday.

Dry conditions continue through at least the weekend, but a slight chance of rain could make its way to the region as early as next week.

Following the weekend, the National Weather service is issuing an Extreme Heat Warning beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday morning, lasting until 8:00 p.m.

Prepare for dangerously hot conditions with afternoon temps between 110-115 degrees. Overexposure can cause heat cramps and heat exhaustion to develop.
