Request made to remove juror in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs trial

(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - The judge in the Sean 'Diddy' Combs trial is considering a request to dismiss one of its jurors.

Prosecutors asked the juror to be dismissed due to "a lack of candor." Defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro accused the government of thinly veiled efforts to dismiss a black juror.

The request occurred as witness "Jane," a pseudonym for the woman referred to in the Combs indictment as "Victim-2," took the stand again.

The judge says that the decision on this dismissal will be made by the end of this week after hearing from both sides.
