Three GOP candidates for Arizona Congressional District 7 participate in debate

TUCSON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Three Republican candidates running to represent Arizona in our nation's capitol in Congress are participating in a debate Monday night.

The Republican candidates are Daniel Butierez, Jorge Rivas and Jimmy Rodriguez. They are running for the seat left vacant by the late Congressman Raul Grijalva.

This is one of two debates being held in Tucson. The other debate is for the Democratic candidates, which is taking place Tuesday night.

The Special Election is taking place Tuesday, July 15. The winner will serve Arizona's 7th Congressional District, including parts of Yuma, Somerton and San Luis.
