Tracking warmer temps and more clouds followed by tropical moisture in the days ahead

Temperatures will warm into the lower 100s toward the end of the week. Then, I am tracking some changes as tropical moisture could bring us rain chances for the weekend.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - It's National Hamburger Day! We will see some clouds, but we will stay dry for the evening. Temperatures will also stay warm with light winds. Still going to be a great evening to enjoy a hamburger at your favorite local burger place.

TRACKING THE TROPICS: I am tracking a Tropical Storm down to our south, which is likely to develop to Tropical Storm Alvin in less than 48 hours. This may bring in tropical moisture to the Desert Southwest this weekend.

We will have dry conditions with us for the rest of the work week, but we are going increase in extra cloud cover for Thursday with mostly cloudy skies.

A weather pattern change will boost our temperatures just slightly above-normal on Friday with highs in the low 100s.

I am tracking higher moisture levels, chance for showers, and cooler temperatures this weekend and into early next week.

There's chance for showers and isolated thunderstorms starting Saturday night-Sunday. I will bring more details and updates as we get closer to the weekend. It's still uncertain with how much rain we could accumulate.
