Central Softball season ends with playoff loss to Sweetwater

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Central Union High School's softball season came to an end Saturday following a tough playoff loss to Sweetwater.

The Lady Spartans fell 6-1 at home, despite putting up a strong defensive performance through the early innings.

Sweetwater pulled ahead in the later frames and maintained control for the remainder of the game.

The loss officially eliminates Central from postseason contention, capping their season with a final record of 10-16.
