TSA says Friday was the third busiest travel day of all time
(NBC, KYMA/KECY) - The holiday travel rush is on as the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) says Friday was its third busiest travel day of all time.
TSA says it screened more than three million passengers on Friday.
The agency expects to screen 18 million passengers at airports nationwide during the extended holiday weekend.
TSA says the REAL ID rollout has not been a big problem as 93% of passengers are showing up with a REAL ID or another acceptable form of identification.
