Tracking calmer winds and seasonable temperatures for now

Winds will stay calm for the remainder of the workweek and temperatures will warm to the 90s, but it will be near average levels. Tracking changes to return for the weekend.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - It is a nice day with lighter winds. An Air Quality Alert is still in effect for parts of Imperial County until 11 a.m. Thursday, as air quality continues to recover from the gusty 2 days they had.

Lower pressure system and cold front has moved further northeast, which will allow lighter winds and slightly warmer temperatures for the remainder of the workweek.

Temperatures will trend near average levels with dry and sunny weather staying with us for now.

We will have warm and nice weather with highs staying in the 90s through Saturday.

I am tracking another weather system that will cool our temperatures below normal, along with bringing back breezy and windy conditions for the weekend.

Another warm-up will be back by the middle of next week with a round of triple-digits.
