One dead, multiple injured in bus crash in California

HACIENDA HEIGHTS, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - A fiery crash involving a tour bus left one person dead and at least two dozen injured Sunday in Los Angeles.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating why the tour bus, which was on the 60-freeway, rear-ended an SUV early Sunday morning.

It happened just after 5:00 a.m. and the Nissan involved in the crash burst into flames, with the driver trapped inside.

The driver of the Nissan was killed and 26 others were treated for minor injuries.

There were 63 people on board who were headed to L.A.'s Koreatown after a casino trip to the Coachella Valley.
