Two injured in a shooting at a California college
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - A suspect is in custody after two women were injured in a shooting at a California college Friday.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting at Spartan College around 3:45 p.m. They found two women inside the school suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were both taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Police say the shooter appears to be a security guard who has worked at the school for five years. He allegedly left the scene, but was taken into custody a couple of hours later.
An investigation is underway into what led up to the shooting.
