Warm close to April with a warm start to May

We are wrapping up the month of April with warmer-than-normal temperatures, and we can expect the same type of weather to start the month of May. Tracking another round of winds and a quick cool-down for the weekend.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - We have slightly breezier conditions with wind gusts of 20-25 MPH through this evening.

Some afternoon and evening breeziness is still expected through the end of the week, but nothing overly gusty.

A weak lower pressure system continues to hover over the Desert Southwest, but it's not going to bring any major changes through the work week.

A weather disturbance will be moving into the region this weekend which will bring another round of breezy to windy conditions and much cooler temperatures going into early next week.

But until then enjoy the warm, sunny, calm conditions while we have them.
