ASU’s Cam Skattebo drafted by Giants in 4th Round
From bruising runs in Tempe to the bright lights of New York, Cam Skattebo is heading to the NFL.
GREEN BAY, Wisc. (KYMA, KECY) - The former Arizona State standout was selected by the New York Giants early in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft on Saturday.
Known for his hard-nosed running style, Skattebo rushed for a school-record 1,711 yards and 21 touchdowns last season for the Sun Devils.
At 5'9" and 219 pounds, Skattebo may not be a burner, but his physicality and ability to break tackles made him one of the most entertaining players in college football.
"I've been running through people since I was six-years-old in Pop Warner," Skattebo told reporters earlier this year.
The Giants' backfield has been in transition since the departure of Saquon Barkley. Skattebo joins fellow young back Tyrone Tracy Jr. to form what could be a promising one-two punch.
Skattebo also impressed scouts with his versatility, finishing with over 2,300 all-purpose yards last season, showing he can catch out of the backfield and contribute on special teams.
He's got the toughness, the tape, and now, a new team in the Big Apple.
