CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Hailstorm hits southwest Oklahoma

LAWTON, Okla. (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - Heavy hail pounded parts of southwest Oklahoma as storms moved through the region early Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service (NWS) said between one and three inches of rain had fallen across parts of Grady, Stephens, Comanche, and Cotton Counties as of 9:45 a.m. Central, with additional amounts of one to two inches expected.

Footage taken by Shanna Mellott (@1991_teacher) shows conditions in Lawton on Saturday morning.

A flash flood warning would remain in effect for Comanche County until 12:45 p.m. Central, the weather service said.
