Rural Metro responds to garage fire, no injuries reported
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Rural Metro Fire responded to reports of a garage fire Monday afternoon.
The fire happened after 3:00 p.m. in the area of East Del Rico in the Mesa Del Sol neighborhood.
Rural Metro said three fire trucks, one water tanker, one medical unit and one battalion chief responded to the area, where they found a garage on fire, which got into the attic. They then put out the fire.
While the garage was deemed a total loss, Rural Metro said the house remained intact and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
