Judge orders to resume refugee admissions
(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - A blow to the Trump administration after a federal judge has ordered the government to resume refugee admissions and reinstate funding for resettlement agencies.
The International Refugee Assistance Project sued the Trump administration and they argued that government's actions would violate statutory obligations approved before Donald Trump took office.
Immigration rights advocates accused the administration of defying obligations and leaving vulnerable families in limbo.
