More details emerge during Lori Vallow Daybell’s murder conspiracy trial in Arizona
She has already been convicted of killing her children. Now, she is standing trial for conspiring to kill her former husband, Charles Vallow, in Chandler.
PHOENIX (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - More details emerged Tuesday of "Doomsday Mom" Lori Vallow Daybell's demeanor after the second day of testimony in her murder conspiracy trial.
Vallow Daybell's brother, Alex Cox, shot Charles Vallow back in 2019, and the prosecutor said that Vallow Daybell and her brother conspired to kill him.
The prosecutor said, in her opening statements, it took Cox 47 minutes to call 911 for help.
According to an NBC affiliate in Phoenix, when he did call 911, the person on the line gave Cox instructions to perform CPR.
Now, so far, two first responders with the Chandler Fire Department testified saying no one performed CPR on Vallow's body until they arrived.
But Vallow Daybell, who is representing herself, said her brother acted in self-defense. Her cross examinations tried to cast doubt on first responders testimony.
Cox can't be charged in this case because he died before charges were filed.
In the afternoon, the NBC affiliate in Phoenix heard from a detective with the Chandler Police Department who helped walk through the crime scene and shared testimony that poked holes in Vallow Daybell's self-defense claims.
