Padres storm back to beat Cubs

Padres rally from four down to stun Cubs at Wrigley
CHICAGO (KYMA, KECY) - The Padres were down seven runs in the second inning. They ended the day with a win.
San Diego pulled off a wild comeback at a frosty Wrigley Field on Sunday, edging the Cubs 8-7 in a game that had just about everything, crooked innings, balks, errors, and a clutch hustle play from Manny Machado to push across the go-ahead run.
"We're just going to come back," said Fernando Tatis Jr. "We're going to find a way."
That's exactly what they did. After an ugly start from Kyle Hart and reliever Logan Gillaspie, who gave up all seven Chicago runs, the bullpen shut the door the rest of the way, giving the offense time to work.
Tatis, Machado, and the heart of the lineup chipped away before a misplayed double-play ball allowed Tatis to score the winner.
The Padres are now 8-2 and looking like a top contender in the National League.
