Kofa takes slugfest at home over Red Mountain

The Kings earned a big win as they start the final stretch of their regular season with a hope of pushing towards the playoffs

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Kofa baseball (8-7) defeated Red Mountain (15-4) 7-6 at home on Friday.

The Kings wasted no time getting their offense going, scoring two runs in the first inning.

Following plenty of back and forth scoring, eventually it would be Kofa winning in extra innings, thanks to a walk off RBI in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Kofa will now only face Yuma-area competition for the rest of the regular season.

They'll next take on San Luis at home on Tuesday.
