AWC to host annual Student Etiquette Luncheon

Arizona Western College

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Arizona Western College (AWC) is inviting their students, "local partner universities and college students at work in the Yuma community" to the 12th Annual Student Etiquette Luncheon.

In a press release, the event is taking place Thursday, April 17, 2025 at the Schoening Conference Center at the AWC Yuma Campus, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

AWC says the event is to help students "learn business etiquette principles" and provide "opportunities to network with leaders in the community" through a "professional dining experience."

"The AWC Etiquette Luncheon is an interactive, collaborative workshop designed to equip students with the latest professional etiquette and networking skills. During this event, campus and community leaders guide students through practical activities on dressing to impress, effective workplace communication, the importance of work ethic, and opportunities for volunteering both on campus and in the community."

Dr. Michelle Sims, AWC Professor of Economics

AWC says business casual attire is required for the event, and if students are in need of an outfit, they can check out The Cubby.
