CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Car crashes into a downed tree

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Officials in Louisville, Kentucky are warning residents to be extra careful on the roadways and watch out for storm damage.

A news crew with WAVE-TV was out surveying weather damage in Louisville overnight and captured a scary moment.

A car driving down a dark road didn't see a large tree had fallen across the street. The vehicle then slammed into the downed tree.

The driver did have to be checked out by EMS responders.
