Duke, Florida punch tickets to Final Four
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The NCAA Tournament Final Four is halfway set, with Duke and Florida securing their spots Saturday night.
Duke dominated Alabama 85-65, shutting down the nation's top-scoring offense. Kon Knueppel led the Blue Devils with 21 points, while projected No. 1 NBA Draft pick Cooper Flagg added 16. Mark Sears, who fueled Alabama's record-setting Sweet 16 performance, was held to just six points.
Florida earned its trip to the Final Four with an 84-79 comeback win over Texas Tech. Walter Clayton Jr. and Thomas Haugh led the charge late, combining for 12 points on four clutch three-pointers in the final minutes. Clayton finished with 30 points, while Haugh posted a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double.
The last two Final Four spots will be decided Sunday, with Houston facing Tennessee and Auburn taking on Michigan State.
