Two injured, suspect arrested in Arizona shooting

TEMPE, Ariz. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - A shooting suspect is in custody after injuring two people and fleeing to a Marriott resort in Tempe, Arizona.

According to Tempe police, the incident began on the freeway before the suspect fled the Mariott Phoenix Resort Tempe at The Buttes.

Police said two people suffered gunshot wounds. However, the severity of their injuries is not known at this time.

One suspect is in custody and an investigation is ongoing.
