Arizona Senators Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego hold Medicaid town hall
PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY/NBC) - Senators Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) and Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) are hosting a town hall with Arizona residents Monday.
In a press release, the town hall will "make clear the stakes of Republicans' plan to cut Medicaid health care coverage," which is known as the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) in the state, "in order to give tax breaks to the wealthy and big corporations."
The press release says the senators will also "discuss the plan's impact on the millions of Arizonans who rely on Medicaid for health care."
