YPD notifies community of Level 3 sex offender: Jeffrey Scott Gray
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department (YPD) is issuing a notification regarding a sex offender in the area.
YPD says Jeffrey Scott Gray, 54, is residing in the area of 4th Avenue and 1st Street, and is described as six-feet, one-inch, weighing 190 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.
According to YPD, Gray molested a child who knew him back in 1994, and pled guilty of Attempted Sexual Conduct with a Minor the following year in Maricopa County.
Gray lived in the Phoenix area between September and October of 2004, but failed to register as a sex offender, resulting in him pleading guilty to charge, according to YPD.
Gray is a Level 3 sex offender, and is considered a "high risk to reoffend," YPD says.
