President Trump exempts Mexico tariffs for another month

(KYMA, KECY/NBC) - U.S. President Donald Trump announced Thursday through social media that Mexico will be exempt from tariffs he placed earlier in the week.
President Trump said an exemption will be made for goods from Mexico tied to the USMCA trade deal reached during his first term.
His announcement post on social media said the agreement will last for one month.
President Trump spoke with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, but did not mention whether an exemption would also apply to goods from Canada in the same deal.
