Fairy Party returns to Yuma in April

Yuma Parks and Recreation

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A popular event for children returns to Yuma on April 12.

Yuma Parks and Recreation's Fairy Party is an event for children ages 3 to 12 to dress up in costume and enjoy Fairyville.

Participants can enjoy a night of dancing, story readings, and fairy-themed crafts.

Lemonade, iced tea and cookies will be available.

“Meet the Fairy Godmother, enjoy a game, and design a special note for the Fairyville Mailbox,” said Recreation Program Supervisor Marilyn Lammel. “Before you leave, be sure to pick up a treat and make a wish—it just might come true!”

There will be three sessions at the city hall atrium in Yuma all on the same day.

Advanced registration is required and costs $18 per child. One adult can register with up to two children.
