Victims speak out in house party shooting trial

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) -  Tuesday was the second day of the trial of 20-year-old Jose Lopez, one of the men behind Yuma's mass shooting that killed two people.

Several different victims and witnesses shared their testimonies including the neighbors, party goers, and victims who were shot.

Each person recounted in thier own words what they experienced that fateful night to the jury. They were also cross examined by the defense and prosecution.

Some victims said they heard some sort of arguement before the shooting took place.

Neighbors also described the chaotic aftermath and trying to perform medical aid to victims.

The trial continues all this week and is expected to last possibly three weeks.

Lopez is facing two counts of first-degree murder and five counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
