Local viewers enjoy Kelly & Mark live After the Oscars show in Hollywood

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos hosted their annual Live After the Oscars Show in Hollywood and several lucky local viewers got the chance to attend the show.

The show featured live performances and entertainment from special guests like comedian Nikki Glaser and artists Lil Jon and Steve Aoki.

Over 30 viewers from Yuma and the Imperial Valley hopped on a Fun Bus for hours to come enjoy the entertainment and see the show live in person.

"Oh I'm really excited. This is the first time for me. I've never been to anything like this before," said Fun Bus contest winner David Loncarich.

Kelly and Mark also took time to recognize L.A. first responders. After many heroes battled the recent L.A. fires, the co-hosts say it's special seeing everyone come together for moments like these.

"I think it was definitely a part of the healing and part of the rebuilding to have the show last night. And it was really special what we did last night to honor the first responders, and we loved having them here at our show today," said Mark Consuelos.

They also say a special thank you to all who came out and are excited for more years to come.

"Thank you is not a large enough expression of gratitude, but it is not lost on us," said host Kelly Ripa.
