18-year-old man found fatally shot in Brawley

BRAWLEY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - A man was found shot in Brawley and was pronounced dead, according to Brawley Police Department (BPD).

At about 2:18 a.m. on March 2, police were called about a shooting on South 17th, west of Old Highway 111.

Officers found an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound, and used life-saving measures but the man was later pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing.
