Imperial County announces road closure for next week

WINTERHAVEN, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Imperial County has announced that Picacho Road will be closed next Monday.

In a press release, the road, from Winterhaven Drive to Quechan Road, will be closed due to a damaged bridge over the Yuma Main Canal.

Imperial County says the closure will go into effect Monday, March 3, 2025, until further notice. In the meantime, Imperial County says drivers will be using a detour route during the closure.
