Gunman dies following shooting at a Pennsylvania hospital

SHILOH, Penn. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - A gunman is dead after opening fire at a Pennsylvania hospital Saturday.

The situation unfolded at UPMC Memorial Hospital in Shiloh.

The York County Office of Emergency Management confirmed that threat has now been neutralized, and UPMC later said that the gunman had died.

The hospital said no patients were injured and the facility is now secure.

An investigation is underway.
