YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - One of the best tasting events in our area is back in town, the BBQ and Brew fest is taking place in Downtown Yuma.

From barbecue to ice cold brew and even a free concert on both nights the festival.

This is also a Kansas City Barbecue Society-sanctioned event.

Sharon Schneidewend shares why she comes every year.

"It’s just fun to go through and see all the people and taste all the barbecue and stuff… it’s just a nice family event something everybody can take their kids to and it’s really nice,” said Schneidewend.

The two day celebration started Friday and ends on Saturday.

Saturday’s hours are from noon to 7:30 p.m.
