Temperatures continue to warm up this week

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)- Above normal temperatures will continue through the week with daytime highs reaching near 80 degrees over the warmest desert locations.

According to National Weather Service (NWS), weather conditions will remain dry through Friday with periods of high cloudiness.

A weather system should then affect the region Friday night and Saturday, increasing rain chances mainly across southern and eastern Arizona while bringing temperatures back to near normal readings for the weekend.
