Labor bus transporting agricultural workers rolled over
UPDATE (4 P.M.) - The Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) sent out a press release with an update.
YCSO said they received a report of the collision Monday morning around 6:39 a.m. in the area of S. Avenue 37E and E. County 4th Street.
An agriculture labor bus which had 34 people inside was traveling on a field road.
Deputies said for unknown reasons, the driver lost control of the bus and slid into the embankment which caused the bus to roll over and land on its side.
Multiple agencies responded and assisted with multiple passenger injuries and took them for medical treatment to Yuma area hospitals, said YCSO.
According to YCSO, 28 people were transported for non-life-threatening injuries.
This case is still under investigation.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the collision.

UPDATE (12 P.M.) - A bus filled with more than 20 people rolled over near an ag field in Yuma County.
It happened between Roll and Wellton.
According to Yuma Regional Medical Center, 21 people are being treated at the emergency department for mostly minor injuries.
At this time, all patients are in good condition.
ROLL, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A bus transporting agricultural workers flipped on its side Monday morning.
According to sources, the incident occurred in the area of Avenue 36E, between County 4th and 5th Streets.
Sources say multiple law enforcement and emergency medical service (EMS) agencies responded to the area.
Injured workers were taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC), according to sources.
There is no further information about how and when the rollover occurred, but KYMA will keep you updated on this breaking news story.
