Sun Devil Stadium becomes Mountain America Stadium

Arizona State agrees to naming rights deal with Mountain America Credit Union

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECYTV) - Arizona State University and Mountain America Credit Union have agreed on a 15-year naming rights deal.

Sun Devil Stadium will become Mountain America Stadium, Home of the Sun Devils.

"This is one of the important naming rights deals in the history of college sports and that speaks to the power and the future of our brand," said ASU President Michael Crow. "We are grateful for Mountain America's investment in our student-athletes and our programs. This agreement creates a pathway to help us compete at the highest levels of athletics in today's changing environment."

ASU and Mountain America Credit Union have also agreed to partner in giving back to student athletes and the community. This partnership will include a shoe donation program that will be developed to provide new shoes to those in need. There will also be Football Field Goals, scholarships, financial education programs, and an internship program.

The first game at the newly named stadium will be August 31, when the Sun Devils kick off their season against Southern Utah.
