18-year-old found dead near 5th Street and May Avenue

UPDATE (4 P.M.) - YCSO sent out a press release saying deputies responded to a report of a man found dead.

During the investigation, deputies determined the man to be a victim of a homicide and was identified as 18-year-old Omarion Valenzuela of Yuma, Arizona.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) was investigating a homicide in the area of 5th Street and May Ave Sunday morning.

KYMA was on the scene as investigators were canvassing the neighborhood.

YCSO said that more information will be released at a later time.
