Yuma Police Department offering school safety

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A local police department is getting ready to keep students safe as they head back to school.

Yuma police will have a back-to-school safety livestream next week.

They will be answering questions and giving traffic advice on school zones.

"School safety what can you expect from our rsros it's your time to ask questions if you have anything you want to know about. I know traffic will come up against we're going to talk about that too," said Lori Franklin, Yuma Police Department Public Information Officer.

The Yuma police livestream will be on their official Facebook page on Wednesday, August 2 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
