Comic-Con fun continues for day two

KYMA

SAN DIEGO (KYMA, KECY) - The fun continues in San Diego for people who come from all over the world and wait every year for the most awaited event, Comic-Con.

Costumes, characters, and fun.

Thousands of people from all over the world are outside and inside the convention center.

A couple traveled all the way from Indiana dressed themselves as Loki.

They both say this is their 10th time at Comic-Con and putting their costume together is what they love to do.

“We needed a good couples costume and we always do one every year. Every time we come. Yeah absolutely love the series Loki so after we watched we were like oh we have to figure out how to do that,” stated Larry and Erica Shoot.

The most interesting part is the dedication and creativity they put into their costumes.

A family who comes from Anaheim said their little girl chose the costume.

"We are the Mario family, if you notice, it was her idea and it was impossible to resist. And here we are enjoying it," said Jorge Garcia.

Jorge Garcia tells me what is his favorite part of Comic-Con.

"Signings. Signings and getting to meet the artists you know the writers. It’s kind of you go through the whole year trying to collect the comics and reading and enjoying them and now having the opportunity to meet the people who were part of it it’s amazing," said Garcia.

I got to talk to someone who dressed as my favorite character from the show Bob’s Burgers.

He said it’s his 16th time at Comic-Con and wants to send a message to those who have yet to come.

"Come. Everybody is accepted. You’ll love it and if you like anything in the genre arts ,music, movies, whatever, something here will hit you in the heart and in the feels and most of all will make you smile," said Blaiez Bauthch.

So far, I’ve seen many characters I love such as Mario and Luigi, who are rolling around somewhere, Vecna from Stranger Things, and of course, the Avatar.

Comic-Con will be in San Diego throughout the weekend.
