California authorities rescue man after he did not resurface
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - A man was pulled from the water at a Los Angeles park Monday afternoon.
Officials say an man jumped into the lake at Magic Johnson Park in the Willowbrook area around 12:30pm, and did not resurface.
The dive team was dispatched to launch a search and rescue operation. A short time later, the man was rescued and taken to the hospital in critical condition.
There are no further details at this time.
