Sunny and hot weekend weather ahead

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The streak of spring weather in the dead middle of winter is continuing through the weekend with temperatures expected to remain in the low-to-mid 80s in the Desert Southwest across today and Sunday.

Overnight lows will be in the low 50s as we head into Saturday and as we turn the page on the new work week going into Monday.

Clouds will also be absent for the vast majority of the weekend.

High wind gusts will also fail to appear for the most part, as well. They will remain below 12mph in the region for Saturday and at least until Sunday morning.

Things may take a quick rise Sunday afternoon in Yuma, but other than that, it'll be a relaxing weekend.
