Final day of humidity for near future

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Desert Southwest was hit with another day of above average humidity Sunday, but that trend should come to a halt as we work into the beginning of the week.

Moderate humidity conditions will return on Tuesday, with Monday seeing more moisture in the air, but not as tropical of conditions as was dealt with recently.

Wind gusts will hit 12-18 mph throughout Yuma County and the Imperial Valley, and there are early tracking of 20+ mph wind gusts on Tuesday. Ocotillo could see wind gusts above 40 mph throughout the beginning of the week.

Heat will remain around 100 °F over the next couple of days.
