Cloudy skies & chances of scattered thunderstorm

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - We're seeing cloudy desert skies Tuesday afternoon. Our below normal temperatures will gradually cool over the course of the next several days.

Yuma did see a severe thunderstorm warning earlier Tuesday that expired by 2:00 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), there are chances of scattered thunderstorms and light rain in the Imperial Valley.

NWS reports increasing moisture will promote daily shower and thunderstorm chances for much of the region into the weekend.
